About Universe Awareness Belgium

A number of people and organisations, from both main linguistic communities in the country (Flemish- and French-speaking), have already expressed their interest in participating in UNAWE-Belgium: The Brussels Planetarium, the amateur astronomer community, professional astronomers from various universities and observatories, and at least one non-profit organisation (Clés pour l'Univers). The latter aims at bringing astronomical knowledge to captive audiences such as hospitalised children and incarcerated people.

In the context of UNAWE-Belgium, all these people and organisations have various activities on the drawing board, such as presentations at various schools (including disadvantaged schools)and children hospitals.
